DIY Snow Globe Ornament Announcement
- Clear glass bulbs (I used Tree House brand found at any craft store)
- Printout of your ultrasound image ( I printed 3 sizes to try out and 6 prints)
- Hot glue and hot glue gun
- Styrofoam balls (or flake snow)
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Spray Mout (or glue)
- Funnel (rolled up paper works)
- Glitter spray paint ( I didn't end up using)
- Ribben
- Other gender props to add to the bulb if you would like
4. You could glue the image to the base of the globe or leave it free-floating around in the snow. I did both.
5. Use the funnel, add snow to the ornament and shake it up a bit.
6. I am not a simple person, so I had to add a personal touch to the ornament pictured above.
7. I had to do a little EXPERIMENTING on this craft. You can really add anything to this, be creative!!
This was a little trial and error for me. It didn't turn out exactly as I planned, but it's the thought that counts, right. Please share some of your DIY projects!!! ENJOY AND CREATE!!!

19 Weeks
![]() |
Her you are 19w old and we have Skittles saying HI! |
So, this week everything went south for us regarding our next ultrasound and searching for our new home. But… on a fab. Note... some other movement occurred.
How far along?
19weeks along
Total weight gain?
13lbs gained with a total of 134lbs.
Maternity clothes?
This is where I found buying loose-fitting tops tailored in a way that I can wear them after my prego days. My leggings are maternity. (above photos)
Stretch marks?
Nope! I'm still using my oils and lotions found here.
Sleep?
By now, I am used to my new internal alarm clock waking me up every so often in the middle of the night, but now I have ligament pain along with that and a sharp pain in my rib.
Best moment this week?
I got to feel Baby Fig move!!!!! EEEkkk!
Miss anything?
I am content at this point!!
Movement?
Well…. yessss… I was lying on the couch, rubbing my belly, and it felt like a wave passing through, followed by a jab. This week, Baby Fig has been really active in the afternoons and at night. So amazing!
Food cravings?
Still sweets.
Gender?
Well, our ultrasound was pushed to January 3rd, so not yet.
Labour signs?
Nope
Symptoms?
To add to what I already have, I am getting a sharp pain under my right breast near/under my ribs. I'm not sure what would be causing this.
Belly button in or out?
Im still an inny.
Happy or moody most of the time?
This was somewhat of a disappointing week for us. We had to reschedule our ultrasound for another 3 weeks. Another house that we made an offer on, the inspections were not great, so we have to keep searching. My mood is happy and hopeful.
Looking forward to?
More baby movements, and Christmas is next week!!! Some r n r time with the family and friends. I still plan on making the baby gifts for the Grandparents. I'll just have to improvise on how to show the gender. here is the result.

Prenatal Pilates
Create your own custom workout with 10 Minute Solutions Prenatal Pilates.
You already have those pants and Im sure the perfect t. And there is nothing like stretching out those muscles you have never heard of before and creating more space in your lungs while strengthening your "other parts".
On occasion, before I was pregnant, I used to take Pilates. I was never the type of person to do yoga so Prenatal Pilates was the best for me. These videos (above ) I just love.
If you haven't done any before, it is not recommended that you begin doing it on your own. Here you could also buy the DVD.
- Helps with building and toning…
- Core strength
- Abdominals
- Back
- Pelvic Floor/Kegels
- All in all it makes for a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery!
- Pilates is also famous for helping new moms get their figures back after baby is born!
